Lightfoots is a long-established business, providing a full range of legal services throughout offices in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. There are approximately 100 staff members. They approached GHM to replace an aging system and move lines from ISDN. They required a top of the range solution to improve internal and external communication, as well as a disaster recovery solution and business continuity plan.

The Solution

Based on their requirements and budget, GHM recommended a solution from global telecom provider – Unify. This was also installed with a premium PCI compliant call recording solution from Oak. The virtualised server is class-leading with a full unified communication feature set. Such as flexible working options, instant messaging, Outlook contact integration and in-house conference bridge etc.

The Product

GHM also manage Lightfoots Network Services, and during installing the phone system, SIP Trunks and Broadband services were also implemented. While moving from ISDN to SIP Trunks, it provides a flexible and scalable communications technology that enables growing businesses to manage communications effectively while saving money. For Lightfoots this resulted in a £40k saving over five years.
